Crazy for Crazy Coyotes Tacos

Crazy Coyote Super TacoCrazy Coyotes Tacos is a little shack off of the 10 Freeway- just north of Exit 103 on Malki Rd.  For those of you that don’t know, this is the exit Eastbound gamblers travelers take to visit Morongo Casino and Hotel.

The service is friendly and the menu is simple- tacos, burritos, taquitos, and quesadillas as entrees, and fries or nachos as sides.  The small selection is of no concern as all items have been top quality and similar to homemade.  In fact, both the corn and flour tortilla are handmade and they’re so good, they even sell them by the dozen.

Tacos come in two sizes- regular or giant and are filled with your choice of steak, chicken or chile verde. The giant taco is the equivalent of about two regular tacos and the giant also includes melted cheese, cilantro, onions, salsa and homemade guacamole. The handmade corn tortillas are thick and delicious- unlike anything purchased in a store.  You can order the tacos ala carte or as a plate.   Plates include either 2 regular tacos or one giant taco along with rice, beans and a soft drink – all for a mere 8 bucks.

Burritos come with the same filling selections as the tacos, but being mindful of their customers they also offer a vegetarian burrito which is bean and cheese.Crazy Coyotes

Now for the person who needs a little heat with their meal, they also sell a ghost salsa which is of course the culinary equivalent to liquid nitro. The salsa is sold in 2 oz, 4 oz, and 8 oz containers.

Overall, a great little place that shouldn’t be passed up.
